Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026

PackStack is scheduling software for small service businesses. It is run by Ryan Royalty, an individual based in New Hampshire, USA ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement with the person who registers a business on PackStack. By registering a business, you agree to them on the business's behalf. If you don't agree, don't register.

Who can use PackStack

You must be at least 18 to register a business. If you register one, you're its owner. Owners and admins decide who else joins their business, and the business is responsible for how its team uses PackStack under these terms. The business is responsible for its team keeping their sign-ins to themselves.

Trial, fees and cancellation

  • A new business starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it, and the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. A business, owner email address or card that has already had a trial is charged from the start.
  • After the trial, PackStack is a monthly subscription at the price shown when you subscribe, billed in advance each month to the card on file. Payments are processed by Stripe. You're responsible for any taxes that apply.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing link in the app. Your business keeps full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't charged again.
  • We don't give refunds or credits for partial months. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll look at it case by case.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it still hasn't gone through after 7 days, your business becomes read-only until a retry succeeds. If every retry fails (about two weeks), the subscription ends. Once a subscription ends, the business stays read-only: you can still see your data, but nothing can be added or changed until you subscribe again.
  • We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of your subscription.

Your data

You own the information your business puts into PackStack, including details about your clients, their pets and your team. You let us store and process it only to run PackStack for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having your clients' and team's permission to enter their information, and for its accuracy.

You can ask us to export or delete your business's data at any time by emailing rroyaltywebdev@gmail.com.

Acceptable use

Don't use PackStack to:

  • break the law or help anyone else break it;
  • store information you have no right to hold, or harass, threaten or spam anyone;
  • get into another business's data, or anything else you aren't meant to reach;
  • overload, probe or disrupt the service, or get around its limits;
  • resell or rebrand PackStack without our written agreement.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of these, and will tell you why when we can.

The demo

The demo at demo.packstack.app gives each visitor a temporary business that is deleted about a day later. Don't enter real client information into it.

The service

We work to keep PackStack running and your data safe, but PackStack is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim every implied warranty, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. PackStack is a scheduling tool: running your business, including the care of the animals and the safety of the people involved, remains your responsibility.

We may change or improve PackStack over time. If we ever shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to PackStack is limited to the amount your business paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from the information your business puts into PackStack or from your breaking these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email business owners before it takes effect. Continuing to use PackStack after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire.
